Adding an Obituary to LifeWeb

Many obituaries published in newspapers are only available online for one year after publication. However, you can keep your person’s obituary available on LifeWeb 360 indefinitely.

To add or update an obituary to your person's page, log into your admin account, click "Settings" and selecting "Obituary" under Admin Settings:

Add and format your person's obituary. When you're done, click "Save":

Alternative option: If you'd like to send visitors to an existing Obituary online, you can also paste a URL in the "Link to an external obituary" field. If a URL exists in this field, it will override whatever text is saved in the obituary area and visitors will be sent to that link in a new browser window.

Note: The "Save" button will activate when something changes on the form. After saving, you will be directed back to the LifeWeb where you can confirm the changes.


To view the obituary, click the "Obituary" button on the LifeWeb under the welcome message area.
